Cosmic Journey By Luke turns two images—a starless image and a separate stars layer—into an animation. Stars move at different speeds to create the impression of flying toward a nebula or galaxy. Export the finished animation as an MP4 video.
In your image editor, save a starless image and a separate stars-only layer on a black background. Both images must share the same framing, dimensions, orientation, color settings, and histogram stretch. Import TIFF, PNG, JPEG, or WebP files.
Set the star layer count, 3D intensity, object zoom, star speed, and rotation angle. Changes appear immediately in the preview. Choose the video duration, frame rate, resolution, and MP4 quality.
Export the animation as an MP4 video using H.264 encoding. Images are processed in your browser and are never uploaded to a server. The preview requires WebGL 2. To export MP4, open the app over HTTPS or at localhost and use a browser that supports H.264 encoding. Available frame rates and resolutions depend on your browser and device.
Depth creates a 3D effect. The app does not measure the actual distances to stars.
